On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, request of Ralph Murane for refund of 1945 weed assessment, in the amount of $6.00, on Lot 12, Block "F", South Santa Ana, was denied. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, the Mayor was authorized to execute supp application with National Housing Agency for sixty (60) family dwelling units to provide housing facilities for veterans and servicemen. Communication from Real Estate Division, Army Service Forces, together with four copies of Form 131, Notice of Renewal of Lease W-$09-eng-l§29 for ~ilitary Reservation, Air Corps Replacement Center, U.S. Army Air Corps, for the fiscal year beginning July let, 1946 and ending June 30th, 1947, were referred to the City Attorr to report back. Reports of Engineer and Attorney with reference to app- lication of Treesweet Products Co. for overhead crossi~ on Santa Fe St. were read and on motion of Trustee seconded by Dixon and carried, the requests of the Treesweet Products Co. were referred to City Engineer to contact Engineers of Treesweet Products Co. to work out problems of overhead crossing. On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, communicati~ from Treesweet Products Co. requesting improvement of sewage facilities serving their plant at $060 E. 4th St.~ was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, the report of the City Engineer was accepted to install four (4) 30 ft. driveways at Third and Bush Sts.~ for the Union 0il Co. with certain exceptions.
