Gamboni, John F.Higgin~ <br />Lawrence A. Cruzen, Jesse L. Hall and E. William Faires <br /> <br />to drive taxicabs were granted and Clerk authorized to <br />issue licenses but application of R.W.Williams to drive <br />taxicabs was denied as Ordinance provides that a person <br />must be twenty-one years of age in order to drive taxis <br />or busses and license fee ordered returned. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, request of Otto R. Haan for permission to leaw <br />the state for a period of fifteen days, beginning June <br /> <br />lOth, 1948, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, <br /> <br />seconded by Haan and carrie~, <br /> <br />request of Frank Moreno, Manager, "Aocion" for permission <br />to conduct a public dance at V.F.W. Hall, Sth and <br />Broadway, on June Sth, 1945, was granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On recormnendation of the City Attorney that all <br />electrical facilities of the Pacific Electric Railway <br />Co. have been removed from North Main St., and on metier <br />of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />liability under the franchise bond written by United <br />States Fidelity and Guaranty Co., covering overhead <br />electrical facilities, under Ordinance No. 414, be <br />terminated and Clerk instructed to notify the Bonding <br />Company of this action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the report of the Building Inspector for May~ <br />1946 and report of City Court, for May 1946, were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance <br />Cormntttee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw <br /> <br /> <br />
