A petition signed by approximately sixteen property owners and residents in the 1800 and 1600 block South Broadway requesting that curb be installed, was read. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, petition was referred to City Engineer to repoz back at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carrie the report of the Building Inspector for month of June, 1946 and report of City Court, for June, 1946, were received and filed. ,, On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the monthly demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk authorized to draw warrants covering demands numbering 286~ to 2871 inclusive and demands numbering i to 248 inclusive. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute Naval Supply Depot-San Diego Contract N 244s-39561 between the United States of America and the City of Santa Aha, covering the disposal of sewage from the Nava Air Station, Santa Aha, for the next fiscal year beginning July l, 1946 unless otherwise terminated at the option of the Government upon due notice in writing. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute agreement between the City of Santa Aha and the Southern Counties Gas Company for the leasedbuildtng to be served with gas connections in Santiago Park. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication and fo~ms of applications from the State Department of Finance covering allocation of funds to Cities and Counties to assist in the financing of public works construction program for the stated purpose of preventing and alleviating unemployment, was referred to the Auditor for checking. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried Sewer Contractorts license bond of James A. Fox, written by the Great American Indemnity Co., in the amount of $1,000.00~ dated June 18th, 1946, was approved, received and filed.
