<br />conveying to the City of Santa Aha an e,sement for all

<br />the uses and purposes of a public street in, over and
<br />
<br />upon all that real p~operty, described as follows:
<br />
<br />"That portion of a parcel of land bounded on the
<br />south by the north llne of the Chilton Tract,
<br />as recorded in Book 54, page 93, records of
<br /> Los Angeles County, and extending 208 feet
<br /> northerly therefrom, lying westerly from a line
<br /> ~O feet easterly from and parallel to the follow-
<br /> ing described line:
<br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of Eighth
<br /> Street, said point being 8 feet westerly from the
<br /> intersection of the extended center line of
<br /> Flower Street as said street exists Northerly
<br /> from Eighth Street with the center line of Eighth
<br /> Street; thence southerly in a straight line to
<br /> a point in the center line of Sixth Street said
<br /> point being distant Z09.80 feet westerly from
<br /> the intersection of the center line of Garnsey

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried,
<br />the Auditor was authorized to tender warrant in the amoun'
<br />of $6,386.00, made payable to the M.H.Whittier Co. Ltd.,
<br />covering annual rental on the Santa Ana Army Air Base
<br />lease for the period August 21st, 1947 to August 20th,
<br />1948, which warrant is to be mailed by registered letter
<br />and return receipt requested.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and
<br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "An Ordinance Creating a Traffic Safety Commission
<br /> in the City of Santa Ana and Prescribing Rules
<br /> and Regulations Therefor"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1207 and
<br />passed as an emergency Ordinance by the following vote:
