RESOLUTION NO. 55-177

<br />WHEREAS, Bristol Street as it now exists in the City of Santa
<br />
<br />Ana, California, is inadequate in width to accommodate the present
<br />
<br />and future demands of traffic thereon;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City
<br />
<br />of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that the public interest
<br />
<br />and necessity require that Bristol Street between Pine Street and
<br />
<br />Fourth Street be widened and improved as shown on a map thereof on
<br />
<br />file in the office of the City Engineer and herein referred to for
<br />
<br />greater detail, to accommodate the present and future demands of
<br />
<br />traffic thereon and further require that said City do have, take and
<br />
<br />acquire an easement for said purpose in and to those parcels of
<br />
<br />land, described as:
<br />
<br /> PARCEL l: That portion of Tract No. 999, in the City of Santa
<br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on the
<br />map thereof recorded in Book 33, page 10, of Miscellaneous Maps,
<br />records of said Orange County, described as follows:
<br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Tract No. 999,
<br />being the Northwest corner of the intersection of Pine Street
<br />and Bristol Street in said City of Santa Ana, as shown on said
<br />map, and running thence Westerly along the Northerly line of
<br />said Pine Street, 126 feet; thence Northerly, parallel with
<br />the Westerly line of said Bristol Street, 6~ feet; thence East-
<br />erly, parallel with said Northerly llne of Pine Street, 126
<br />feet to said Westerly line of Bristol Street; thence Southerly,
<br />along said Westerly line of said Bristol Street, 64 feet to the
<br />point of beginning;

<br /> PARCEL 2: That portion of Tract No. 999, in the City of
<br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
<br />the map thereof recorded in book 33, page 10, of Ntscellaneous
<br />Naps, records of said Orange County, described as follows;
<br /> Beginning at a point on the East line of said Tract No. 999,
<br />North 0° 13' East 64 feet from the Southeast corner thereof,
<br />said Southeast corner being the Northwest corner of the inter-
<br />section of Pine Street and Bristol Street in said City of Santa
<br />Ana, as shown on said map, and running thence Westerly a~ong a
<br />line parallel with the Northerly line of Pine Street, 12b feet;
<br />thence Northerly, parallel with the Westerly line of Bristol
<br />Street, 64 feet; thence Easterly parallel with the Northerly
<br />line of Pine Street 126 feet to the Easterly line of said Tract
<br />No. 999; thence Southerly along said Easterly line 64 feet to
<br />the point of beginning;

<br />PARCEL 3: The North 45 feet of the South 90 feet of the East
<br />90 feet of Lot I in Block A of Tract No. 132, in the City of Santa
<br /> Aha, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
<br />thereof recorded in book ll, page 42, of Miscellaneous Maps,
<br />records of said 0r~uge County;
