381 extending from the sewer treatment site to the line of ordinary high tide of the Pacific Ocean, and connected therewith a cast iron sewer pipe line extending into the waters of the Pacific Ocean approximately ~00 feet for the conveyance and disposal of sewage. The sewer treatment p~and sewer pipe line to be adequate and sufficient to treat, car~y, and dispose of the sewage developed and originating in the city of Santa Ana and the city of Anaheim. Resolved, that it willbe for theinterest and advantage of the City of Santa Aris and the city of Anaheim to enter into a joint agreement, authorizing and providing for the joint construction and maintenance of such necessary outfall sewer outside of the exterior boundaries of both such municipal corporations, and by such joint agreement provide for the joint payment of the coat and expenee~ of and for the joint use, benefit, and maintenance of st~h necessary outfsll sewer, and upon such terms and conditions, and under such regulations, as may be approved by the boards of trustees, aa the respective legislative bodies, of the city of Santa Ana and the city of Anaheim. Resolved, that the City of Santa Aha shall be bound ~ud ob- ligated to pay such proportionate part of t~.e cost of the construct- ion of such necessary outfall sewer, at such times, and in such installments, as may be provided for in eaid joint agreement. Resolved, that this resolution be signed by the President of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, attested by the Clerk, under the corporate seal thereof, and be published three times in the SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper of general circttlation published in the city of Santa Aha. Resolved, that a full, true, correct, and certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted tc and file'd with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
