<br /> Whereas, t?~ Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, on
<br />the 17th day of October, l~E1, passed its Resolution of Intention
<br />No. ?36 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and
<br />improvement to be made in said city, which Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion No. ?,~6 was duly and legally published twice in Santa Aha
<br />Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and cir-
<br />cul. ated in the city of Santa Ana, all as required by law and ap-
<br />pears from the affidavit of T. G. McDonour, principal Clerk of
<br />the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which
<br />affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the city of
<br />Santa Ana on the 21st day of October, 19£1, and now on file there-
<br />in, and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, after the passage and adoption of said resolution
<br />of intention No. 736, the Street Superintendent of the city of
<br />Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated
<br />work and improv&ment, at not more than 300 ft. in dietan, oe apart,
<br />and 95 in all notices of the passage of Resolution of Intention No.
<br />736, headed: NOTICE OF I~?ROVF~ENT, in mann,r, form and substance
<br />as provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district
<br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the
<br />open streets within such district, not more than 300 f t. in distance
<br />apart on each street, and did post on each street 6 notices, and
<br />on all said streets, 133 notices; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, the ~treet superintendent of the city of Santa
<br />
<br />Ana commenced to post the said. notices on the 21st day of October,
<br />1~21, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 22nd day of
<br />
<br /> October, I~E1, m~re than ten days before the day set for hearing
<br /> protests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all
<br /> as appears by the affidavit of Edw. ~. D~I, street superintendent
<br /> of the city of Santa Ana, filed in the office of the Clerk of said
<br /> city on the 26th d&y of October, 1~21, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, the Board of Trus~¢es of the city of Santa Aha
<br />
<br /> was duly, in regular session at the council Chamber thereof at the
<br /> hour of ?:30 o'clock p.m. of M caday, the ?th day of NOvember, 1921,
<br /> being the day, hour, and place notice of which was contained in the
<br /> Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when and where
<br /> any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or
<br /> improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause
<br /> why said proposed improvement should not be csmried out in accord-
<br /> ance With said Resolution of Intention.

<br /> And no owner of property liable to be asseased for said work
<br />made written or any protests agairst the proposed Work or against
<br />the extent of the district to be assessed, and no ~erson appearing
<br />to or did protest or object, and the Board of Trustees of the city
<br />of Sm~ta Ana having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed
<br />
