(e) The proper excavation for and the construction across North Main Street, at the intersection thereof by Seventeenth Street, also an open public street in the city of Santa Ann, of a twin culvert constructed of re-inforoed concrete, each part there- of to be twenty-four (2~) inches wide at the top and bottom and eight (6) inches in depth inside measurement. Excepting from the work above described any of said work al- ready done upon North Main Street to the official grade. Excepting, however, from all of the afore described work other than lateral house connection sewers and trenches the portion thereof within any area which ia required by law to be kept in order and repair by amy person or company having railroad tracks on North Main Street.
