The Board of Trustees of t}~e city of ~anta ~na, California, pursuant to t) e provisions of t!,e Improvemest Act of 1911, and amend~ents thereto, de resolve as follows: Section 1. That t~e public ]mterest and convenience require and it is t~e intention of tie Board of Trustees of t}~e city of ~anta Aha, Ca2ifer~ia, to order the construc- tion of the following described w'rk and ~mrrovement to ~ be made in, on ard alor~g s Dort~n of that open public street in said city, commonly known as Uest Walnut Street, and which portion thereof is described as a!l that ~ortion of ~est ~alnut Street which extends from tDe West line of Flower Street to the East li~e of B~er Street arid for the entire width of the described portions of ~est ~'a!nut Street, from the curb line o~ the North side to t~e curb line on the South side thereof, and where any street oD ~ley intersects or terminates in the deserib~-d ~ortion of West Walnut Street~ tKen beyond th~ curb line and across the sidewalk reservations to the North~ md South property lines tTereof, to wit: ~. (a) The regradlng of said street to a sub-grade five (5) inches below t}~e official g?~de thereof, as now establisked and the rsving by constructing on sa~d sub- grade a concrete pavement five (5) inches thioR with a belt finish wearing surface, com~lete to tko official grade. (b) ~ne construction ~ ce~e~ot curbs on the por- tions of the above described street, where the same have uot~ ~lresdy been constructed, in the fo~ and of the materials as is ~hown on and in the plans end speoiflca- ~ions for tie work and improvement hereinafter more fully referred to a~d made a part of t~is Resolution of ~ Intention, same to be frye (S) inches o~ the top, seven and one-half (7~) inches wide on the bottom and sixteen (lg) i~ehes in depth~ with a batter of two and one-half (2~) inches on ~be fall side, curb ~turns on an eigh~ (8) foot radius on all street intersections and with ~ three (~:) foot radius on d~luewm~ and alley rqturns and otherwise constructed as is provided in the p~ans,
