256 <br /> <br /> line, described as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The removal of the old pavement now in place <br /> and the regrading of that portion of said street lying be- <br /> tween the West line of North Baker Street and the West line <br /> of North Artesia Street, to a subgrade seven (V) inches be- <br /> low the official g~ade thereof, and the paving of the des- <br /> cribed portion by the construction on said subgrade of a <br /> concrete pavement seven (V) inches thick with belt finish <br /> wearing surface and complete to the official grade. <br /> <br /> (b) The removal of the old pavement and the re- <br /> grading of that part of the above described twenty (20)~ foot <br /> strip lying between the West line of North Artesia Street and <br /> a line across said West Fifth Street parallel to and two (2)' <br /> feet Easterly (measured at right angles) from the East rail <br /> of the Pacific Electric Railway, to a subgrade seven <br /> inches below the official grade thereof as established and <br /> the paving of the described p~rtions by the construction on <br /> said subgrade of a concrete pavement seven (V) inches thick <br /> with belt finish wearing surface and complete to the offi- <br /> cial grade. <br /> <br /> (c) The regrading of that part of the above des- <br /> cribed twenty (20) foot strip of West Fifth Street lying <br /> between a line drawn across said West Fifth Street parallel <br /> to and two (2) feet Westerly (~easured at right angles) <br /> from the rest rail of the Pacific Electric Railway and the <br /> West city lintits line to a subgrade six (6) inches below <br /> the official grade thereof as established, and the removal <br /> of portions of old pavement necessar~ to make such subgrade, <br /> and the paving of the described portions by the construction <br /> on said subgrade of a concrete pavement six (6) inches thick <br /> with belt finish wearing surface and complete to the official <br /> grade. <br /> <br /> (d) The construction of cement curbs on portions <br /> <br /> of said street where shown on plans hereby adopted. <br /> <br /> (e) The construction thereon of main sewer line <br /> <br /> as shown on plans. <br /> <br /> (f) The construction of lateral house connection <br /> severs therein. <br /> <br /> (g) The excavation for and the construction of one <br />concrete manhole therein. <br /> <br /> (h) The excavation for and the construction of one <br />lamphole therein. <br /> <br /> (i) The excavation for and the construction of <br />reinforced concrete box culvert thereon. <br /> <br /> Ail as prepared by the City Engineer and designated <br />as Assessment District No. 52, for the improvement of West <br />Fifth Street in the City of Santa Ana, and subraitted this~ <br />2~th day of August, 1928, be, and the same are hereby adopted <br /> <br /> <br />
