377 F~ESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 926. Resolved, that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aua to order the work to be done and the improvement to be made, hereinafter briefly described, ou and along a portion of that open public street in the city of Santa Ana commonly known as Spurgeon Street, and which ~ortton thereof is described as beginning at the north line of East Washington Avenue and extending north to the south line of East Seventeenth Street, and the entire width of t?e described portion of Spurgeon Street from the curb constructed on. the westerly side thereof to the curb constructed on the easterly side thereof, and Where no curb is constructed then from the easterly curb line to the westerl curb line existing on the described portion of Spurgeon Street and where any street, part of a street, or alley intersects or terminates in the described portion of Spurgeon Street, hhen beyond the curb or curb line to the easterly and westerly property line thereof. The use hereinafter of the words "Spurgeon Street" means and shall at all times be held and construed to mean the portion of that open public street~ above described. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha intends to order done and made on and along Spurgeon Street is briefly described ~s follows~ (a) The regradtng of Spurgeon S~r~et to a subgrade five (5) inches below the existing official grade thereon, except on the part of S~urgeon Street where the ~rade i~ ~o be modified and changed and on such part of the street to a subgrade five (5) inches below a grade which shall become and be the true official grade thereon when the grade on such part of the street is modified and changed, as in this Resolution of Intention set forth ~nd provided for. (b) The construction ou the subgrade of a concrete pave- ment five (5) inches thick with a belt finish wearing surface, complete to the existing official grade, except where modi- fied and changed, and to the changed and modified grade on the part of Spurgeon Street where the grade is to be modified and changed. (c) i~ne excavation in Spurgeon Street of fourteen (14) lateral house connection sewer trenches approximately six feet deep, one trench to be opposite each lot, piece or parcel of land fronting on Spurgeon Street, except where a lateral house connection sewer a~ready exists, each sewer trench to extend easterly or westerly as the case may be from the main sewer now constructed and existing in and approximately along the center line of Spurgeon Street to and
