The laying in each of sai~ sewer trenchesof a four inch inside diameter vitrified salt glazed cylindrical lateral house connection sewer pipe connected with the main sewer pipe and extending to and inside of the said c~rbs, and the backfilling and settling of e~ch sewer trench to a true and solid surface on the subgrade. Excepting from the work ebove described any of said work already done on Spurgeon Street to the of~cial grade. Excepting, howe~er, from a~l of the above described work the portion thereof within any area which is required by law to be ke~t in order and repair by any person or company having railroad tracks on Spurgeon Street. All of said work shall be done in accordance with the plane and specifications adopted therefor by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha by Resolution No. 918 on the 22nd day of January, 1923, and which plans and specifications are now on file in the office of the Clerk of the city of Santa Aha, and said plane and specifications are hereby specifically referred to. Resolv§d, that the grade on pert of Spurgeon ~treet, a t which the work on said street is to be done, be modified and changed, and reference to the plans and specifications adopted by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana on the 22nd d~ of January, 1923, by Resolution No. 918,- for the proposed work, is hereby made, which p~ans show t~e existing official grade end the grade et which the ~ork is proposed to be done. Notice is hereby given ~nd the fact recited that the proposed work is to be done on part of Spurgeon StreetCar e grade other than t!e existing official grade, and all persons ~re referred to the said plans and speclfic~tions for further particulars as to such proposed grade. The grades shown on the plans and at which the proposed work is to be done on Spurgeon Street is ~ ong the center line of the street, and is for the top of the crowh ofthe street; all of said grades ere based upon e datum plane adopted and established by Ordinance No. ST1 Of the city o~ Santa ^ne, which datum plane is 124.288 feel below the cen~er line of the bench mark consisting of a copper plate fixed in and located at the northwesterly corner of the City Hall of the city of Seuta Ana, and marked ".U.S.Coast and Geodetic Survey B.~." All said elevations are expressed in feet and hundredths of feel and are elevations above the datum plane.
