RESOLUTION NO. 58-173 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACT TO <br />IMPROVE MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY, IN ACCORD- <br />ANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 58-131 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, in open <br />session ou the 21st day of July, 1958, publicly did examine and <br />declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work mentioned <br />in Resolution Of Intention No. 58-131 of said City Council de- <br />claring its intention to improve Main Street between Edinger Street <br />and Delhi Road~fDhinthe City by the installation and placing in <br />operation of au ornamental street lighting system including the <br />installation of concrete lighting standards, mercury type vapor <br />luminaires, ballasts, lamps, cable, conduits, pull boxes, and <br />other work appurtenant thereto. <br /> <br /> Reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby is made for <br />the description of the work and the assessment district and for all <br />further particulars. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con- <br />tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: <br /> <br /> Paul Gardner ~rporation <br /> <br />pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said <br />Resolution of Intention, which said bid is on file iu the office of <br />the Clerk of the Council; said award is made at the price named in <br />said bid and said City Council hereby rejects all other proposals <br />or bids for the doing of said work. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed <br />to publish the notice of this award twice in the "Santa Aua Inde- <br />pendent'', a newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa <br />Aha. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
