RESOLUTION NO. ~8-24~ EXPRESSING THE CONSENT OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO COMMENCE- <br />rY~ENT OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913 <br />FOR TERRITORY KNOWN AS "SULLIVAN AND EDINGER ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, residents and property owners in t he area lying <br />southwesterly of the present boundaries of the City of Santa Aha, <br />South of First Street, North of Harvard Street and its westerly <br />extension to the Santa Aha River, and along the easterly side of <br />the Santa Ana River, have petitioned the City Council to give its <br />consent to the commencement of proceedings as required by Section <br />35106 of the Government Code, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area <br />have been presented to the Planning Com~nissi on of the City of Santa <br />Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has by <br />Resolution reported to this City Council and has recommended that <br />said annexation be consented to, approved, and carried forward by <br />this City Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings <br />for the annexation of territory to be known as "SULLIVAN AND EDINGER <br />ANNEX", in accorda~ ce with the map and description heretofore pre- <br />sented to the Santa Ana Planning Commiss~ on and to this City Council. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOP~ED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at a special meeting called and held for ss~ d purpose at the <br /> <br />hour of 2 o'clock P.M. on the <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />6th day of October, 1958. / ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
