The Eoard ',f Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, pur- suant to the p~ovislons of the Improvement Act cf 1911, and the Improvemer~t Bond Act of 19].5, and the amendments to said Acts, do resolve as follows: SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, Csllforn~a, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said city, to-wit: That Garfield Street in said city, from the North line of First Street to the South line of Sixth Street, be graded to a subgrade five (5) inches belaw the f~nished grade as shown on plans, and paved by the construction on said sub- grade of a three and one-half (~-~-) inch Asphaltic Concrete base overlaid with a one and one-half (l~.) inch Asphaltic Concrete wearing surface. That cement curb be constructed ou po~icns of the above described street where s~me b~sve not already been constructed. Excepting however, from the sfsredescribed work, and the aforedescribed portion of street upo~ which said work is to be d~ne, all work ~lready done to grade, ircludlng in ,,aid exception the intersectS_on of Third, Fourth and Fifth Streets, which intersections with Garfield Street are already paved and constructed to grade. Excepting also, from ail of the aforedescribed work other than lateral house connecting sewers and trenches, the portion thereof within any area which is required by law to be kept in order and repair by any person or company having railroad tracks on any portion of Garfield Street, or on the intersection of any street with Garfield Street between the North line of First Street and t~e South line of Sixth Street PIANS, PROFILES, CROSS-SECTIONS AND SPECIF~ATIONS SECTION II.
