That the said Board of Trustees does further declare that no particular section of the City is bene- fited by the said improvement ordered~ and that the expenses of this abandonment shall be borne by the City of Santa Aha, and that it is not deemed convenient or necessary to have au assessment district formed to pay the costs and expenses of the said abandonment, and that certain ~ands owned ~ry the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company entirely surrounds the portion of street and alley sought be abandoned by the City of Santa Aha, said abandonment, the Atchison, Topeka by tbls Resolution to and that in return for and Santa Fe Railway Company has heretofore deeded to the City certain easements for street purposes to make a street in said area of land more nearly conform to the desired plat of streets for the said City. Notice is hereby Fiven t~at ou Nonday, t~e 6th day of April, 1925, at V:~0 o'clock P.~. in the Council Chamber of t~e City Hall of said City of Santa Aha, any and all persons who s~all have filed written protests with the Clerk of tbs City of Santa Aha on or before the 25th day of ~arch, 19£~, as required by law~ may appear before the sa~d Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution. PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK SECTION IV. The Street Superintendent shall cause a notice to be published in the Santa Aha Daily Evenin~ Register, a newspaper published end circulated and of general circulation in tbs City of S~nta An,, containing a statement of the fact of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, its date, and b~iefly describing tbs improvement proposed and refer to this Resolution for further particulars. POSTING OF NOTICE OF PUBI.IC WORK SECTION V. T~e Street Superintendent shall also after the adoption of this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicuously posted along the lines of said contemplated improvemeut~ at not more than three hundred (~00) feet in dis- tance apart, but not less than three (~) in ~11, Notices of the passage of t?is Resolution of Intention, in the manner and form required by law.
