<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF
<br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET
<br />PROVEMENT BONDS, PURSU,%NT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1882,
<br />DETERMINING THE A/?iOUNT OF ASSESS~,iENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOF~INA.
<br />TION OF SUCH BDNDS, AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of
<br />unpaid assessments was duly given in the manner and form require
<br />b~ law, that the warrant, assessment a~d diagram recorded on the
<br />17th day of Augt~st, 1926, for the work and improvement made by
<br />the George A. Simpson Company under that certain contract awar-
<br />ded to it on the 28th day of December, ~9~5, on East First Stree
<br />Cypress Avenue, Lacy Street and Evergreen Street, and that said
<br />warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Sup-
<br />erintendent of said City, together with a wrltSen statement of
<br />all payments received upon the said assessment, and after the
<br />full expiration of twenty (~0) days from the date of said war-
<br />rant, the Street Superintendent duly made and f~.led with the
<br />City Clerk of said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of all
<br />assessments unpaid uoon the said assessment, which list is now
<br />on file i~ the office of the City CleDk of said City, now upon
<br />evidence shown this Board determines that the assessments therei
<br />mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being
<br />the sum of Thirty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety Eight and
<br />12/100 D~llars ($37,598.12) and that a~sessments'numbered 7, 8,
<br />
<br />12, 15, 15, 18, 45, 45, ~8, 88, 90, 9Z, 115, 115, I1~, 119, 120,
<br />
<br />121, 122, 125, 124, 125, 128, 12~, 129, 1~0, 151, 1Z2, 1ZJ,
<br />155, 141, 142, 14Z, 144, 145, 148, 147, 148, 149, 155, 158, 15~,
<br />
<br />1~8, 159, 18~, 18~, ~14, 225, aggregating the sum of Eleven
<br />
<br />Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Seven and 56/100 Dollars
<br />(~11,777.56) have since been pai~ and that there now r~mafns un-
<br />paid the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty an~ 56
<br />100 Dollars ($~5,8~0.86) upon the assessments shown~pon said
<br />list.

<br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention
<br />No. 1582 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />passed the Bgth day of October, 19~8, for a complete description
<br />of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid assess-
<br />merits filed as above noted, for the assessments ~n~paid.

<br /> And whereas, interested persons were notified in the
<br />manner required by law to appear before the Noard of Trustees
<br />of the said City of Santa Aha, California, in the Council Cham-
<br />ber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of 7:50 o'clock
<br />P.M. of ~onday, the 20th day of September, 19~8, and show cause
<br />why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid
<br />assessments Bhewn on said Street Superintendent's %tst; and
