That the. public interest and convenience re~Ire, a~- it Is the intenti~ of the Board of Trustees of the City'of Sen%a A~, California, to o~,der the construction of the following describ~d work and i~oprovement in s~id city, to-wit: The grain8 and ~ving of Custer Street from a straight line dra~ from the Southwest corner of Lot ~8, Block B, of Hawkins' Addition to the intersection of the We~t line of Custer Street with the Northeasterly extended Southeasterly line of Block ~. Santa Aha East to the South line of East V~ashington Avenue, and from the North line of East Was~ngton Avenue to the North llne of Smith's Sub.vision extended Westerly across Custer Street and the pavi~ and grading of Logan Street from a llne 10 feet No~th of and parallel to the No~.th line of Fruit Stmeet to the South line of Stafford Street and from the No~h line ~ Stafford Street to the South line of East Washington Avenue. and from the North line of East ~;~ashington Avenue to the North line of Smith~s Sub.vision exce that portion of the East one-half of Logan Street lying between the North line of Stafford Street and a line 158 feet No~th of and parallel to the North line of Staffor, d Street and the grading and pauing of Stafford Street from the East line of Custe~ Street to the V~est line of Lincoln Avenue, except that portion of the No~th one- half of Stafford Street lying between the center llne of Logan Stree and the center line of the North and South alley through Block A, of Hawkin~ Addition. shall consist of gradi~ to a sub-grade four (4) inches below the finished grades as shown on the plans snd the laying thereon of a two and one-half (E-1/~) inch Asphaltic Concrete base overlaid with a one and one-half (l-l/E) inch Asphaltic Concrete wea~ing surface from curb ~ne to cu~ llne except that at all driveway locations, the work shall be done back to t~e street side of the sidewalk, and at ell all~ and street intersections to be improved under these proceedings on the above described the work shall extend beyond the curb lines and across the reservations to the extended property lines.
