pipe storm drains, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto, along each gutter line
<br />from the Southeasterly abutment of the bridge to be constructed across Santiago Creek
<br />to a line drawn parallel to and distant approximately forty (~0) feet Southeasterly therefrom
<br />the construction of'vitrified clay p~pe main sewers, together with all necessary appurtenancei
<br />thereto along the Northerly extended center line of Broadway across Santa Ana Boulevard,
<br />and between the Northeasterly curb line and the Northeasterly line of S~nta Ana Boulevard
<br />from the extended center line to the extended Northerly line of Roe Drive in said City; the
<br />installation of cast iron pipe water main, fire hydrants,_and all necessary appurtenances
<br />thereto, from Flower Street to a point approximately sixty (60) feet Northwesterly from the
<br />Northwesterly abutment of the bridge to be constructed across the Santa Aha River; the
<br />construction of reinforced concrete box culverts and all necessary appurtenances thereto
<br />across Banta Aha Boulevard at La Veta Avenue, and across Santa Aha B~ulevard at a point
<br />approximately Z00 feet Southeasterly from the intersection of the center lines of Santa Aha
<br />Boulevard with Chapman Avenue, and the construction of concrete pipe culverts, and all
<br />necessary appurtenances thereto, across Santa Ana BAulevard ap~oximately 710 feet Northwest-
<br />erly from the intersection of the center lines of S~nta Aha Boulevard with La Veta Avenue,
<br />and across Santa Ana Boulevard approximately 880 feet NorthweSterly from the Northerly
<br />abutment of the bridge to be constructed across the Santa Ana River.
<br />
<br /> That for the acquisition and improvement of Santiago Creek with the necessary
<br />revetment work to protect the improvements to be m~de upon and along that portion of the
<br />proposed Santa Aha B~ulevard where said Boulevard crosses Santiago Cree, the said improvement
<br />will consist of the'~onstruction of wooden pi~e bank ~rotections along the Northerly edge
<br />of the channel of said Santiago Creek, from the Northerly abutment of the bridge to be con-
<br />structed on Santa Aha Boulevard across said Santiago Creek to a point distant approximately
<br />0~0 feet Easterly therefrom, and along the Southerly edge of the said channel from the
<br />Southerly abutment of said bridge to a point distant approximately 1~0 feet Easterly therefro~
<br />
<br /> The improvement of Broadway as hereinbefore mentioned, between Santa Clara Avenue
<br />and the~Southern Pacific Railroad Company's tracks, shall include the installation of an
<br />ornamental lighting system, consisting of cast iron double lighting standards, and all
<br />necessary appurtenances thereto, including the connection to the existing system in North
<br />Park Eoulevard, also the imprsvement of Broadway between a line drawn parallel to and distant
<br />80 feet Southerly from the Easterly extended Southerly line of Charlotte Street, and the
<br />improvement hereinbefore mentioned to be constructed in Santa Ana Boulevard,~including all
<br />street intersections, shall be improved by the grading and paving with asphaltic concrete
<br />pavement on that portion lying Southerly~from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's tracks,
<br />and the placing thereon of a Portland cement concrete pavement on that portion lying Norther~
<br />from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's tracks, and construction of Portland cement
<br />concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street, and at street intersections, around
<br />curves to intersect curb lines of said intersecting streets, where curbs do not now exist or
<br />replacements are to be made as shown on the plans excepting that portion already improved to
<br />the official grade, and such portion of said street as is required by law to be kept in order
<br />or r~pair by any person or company having railroad tracks thereon; and also that said portion
<br />of Broadway to be paved shall be improved by the construction of vitrified clay pipe main
<br />sewer and all necessary appurtenances thereto, from the improvement ~o be constructed in
<br />Santa Aha Boulevard to a point approximately fifteen (10) feet Southsrly from the Easterly
<br />extended center line of Charlotte Street, and the replacement of Portland cement concrete
<br />sidewalks where replacements are necessary, as shown on the plans.
<br />
<br /> The improvement of Charlotte Street between Riverside Drive and Broadway by the
<br />installation of an ornamental lighting system, consisting of cast iron single lighting
<br />standards, and all other necessary appurtenances thereto, including the connection to the
<br />existing system in Riverside Drive; also the improvement of Charlotte Street between a line
<br />drawn parallel to and distant 80 feet ~esterly from the Westerly line of Broadway, and the
<br />Westerly line of Broadway, by the resurfacing th~reof with asphaltic concrete pavement,
<br />excepting therefrom any of said work already don~ to the official grade, and the replacement
<br />of Portland cement concrete curbs, and portland cement concrete sidewalks, where replacements
<br />are necessary, as shown on the plans.
<br />
<br /> The improvement of a portion of Roe Drive by the construction of Portland
<br />cement concrete~curbs along the Northerly curb line from the Northeasterly line of the propos~
<br />Santa Ana B~ulevard to a point approximately five (0) feet Easterly therefrom and along the
<br />Southerly c~rb line fro~ the said Northeasterly line of Santa Aha BoUlevard to a point
<br />approximately thirty (GO) feet Easterly therefrom.
<br />
<br /> The improvement of a portion of Main Street shall consist of the construction of a
<br />concrete pipe storm drain, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto along the westerS
<br />side of said street from the northerly curb line of Santa Clara Avenue to a point approximate~
<br />150 feet Northerly therefrom, excepting that portion of the storm drain under the Southern
<br />Pacific Railroad Company's tracks.
<br />
<br /> The improvement of a portion of Chapman Avenue between the existing Portland
<br />cement ~oncrete pavement in said Chapman Avenue ~nd the southerly curb~line theheof, and from
<br />the northeasterly line of the proposed Santa .Aha B~ulevard to a line drawn at right angles to
<br />the center line of said Chapman Avenue, and dzstan~ 148.~ feet Easterly, measured along said
<br />center line from the intersection of said center line of Chapman Avenue with the center line
<br />of said Santa Ana B^ulevard, and shall consist of the grading to a subgrade and the pla~tnE
<br />thereon of a Portland Cement concrete pavement and the construction of a 'Portland cement
<br />doncrete curb along the southerly curb line thereof.
<br />
<br /> That Flower Street between a line at right angles to the center line of Flower
<br />Street and distant ll00 feet Northerly from the intersection of the center line of Flower
<br />Street with the center line of Santa Clara Avenue, and a line drawn through the radius point
<br />of the Northwesterly curb return in the intersection of ~lower Street with the proposed Santa
<br />Aha Boulevard, which said radius point is located at a point in the Northeasterly line of
<br />Santa Aha B ulevard and thirty (30) feet Westerly measured at right angles from the center
<br />line of Floger Street and a point on the easterly curb line of Flower Street distant 27 ~eet
<br />northerly measured along the said easterly curb line of Flower Street from the northeasterly
<br />line of Santa Aha Boulevard, and all of the street intersections between said limits shall~be
<br />improved by the grading and placing thereon of a Portland cement concrete pavement, including
