RESOLUTION ORDERING I~'.! PROVEIi~ENT <br /> NO. 2104 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on the 3rd day of <br />June, 1929, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 2095 to order the hereinafter <br />described improvement to be made and public work to be done in the City of Santa <br />Aha; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of Intention <br /> <br />No. 2095 the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha c mnspicuously posted <br />along the line of the contemplated work and improvement at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in dtstance apart, and 3 in all, notices of the passage of <br />said Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, in the manner, form <br />and substance as required by law, and said Street Superintendent also caused a <br />notice similar in substance to be published for a period of ten (10) days in <br />the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Aha, and named by said City Council in said Resolution of <br />Intention as the paper in which said notice should appear, all as appears from <br />the affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of <br />said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of <br />the City of Santa Ana on the 18th day of June, 1929, and is now on file therein; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana commenced <br />~he posting of the notices hereinbefore referred to on the 5th day of June, 1929, <br />and fully completed the pesting thereof on the 8th day of June, 1929, as appears <br />from the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ana, and more than ten (10) days having e~pired after the expiration Of the <br />time of the publication of said notice within which protests or objections to the <br />proposed work or improvement might be made by any person interested objecting to <br />said work or improvement, or to the extent of the district or lands to be <br />affected or benefited by said work or improvement and to be assessed to pay the <br />costs and expenses thereof; and <br /> <br /> i~HEREAS, at the next meeting of the City Council after the expiration <br />of said ten days after the expiration of the time of the publication of said notic <br />and no objection to said w~rk or improvement having been made or on file, <br />said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said <br />Resolution of Intention, the City Council of the City of San~a Aua having now <br />acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed i~provement; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY ~SOLVED AND ORDERED: That the public interest and con- <br />venience requires the wor$ hereinafter described and the City COuncil of the City <br />of Santa ?~a hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement made in <br />the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />That the following portion of that certain alley as hereinafter <br />described in the City of Santa ~ina be closed up, vacated and abandoned, to-wi~: <br /> <br /> A portion of the alley through Block A, of Hawkins Addition as <br /> per map thereof on file in Book 13, Page 26, ~iiscellaneous ~lecords of <br /> Los Angeles County, California and more particularly described as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of Lot 26, Block A of said <br /> Hawkins Addition; thence Northerly along the Easterly lines of Lots <br /> <br /> <br />
