RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO <br />ASSESSMENT, APPROVING ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE <br />STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ATTACH WARRANT AND RECORD. <br /> <br />NO. 2108 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, did on the 5th day <br />of November, 1928, pass Resolution of Intention No. 2053, for the improvement of <br />portions of Garfield Street, Sixth Street,~Poinsettla Street, Second Street, <br />Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Brown Street, Stafford Street, Vance Street and <br />Wellington Avenue; and whereas, on the l?th day of June, 1929, the Superintendent <br />of Streets of said City filed an assessment to cover the sum due for the work <br />performed and specified in the contract made under proceedings for the said <br />improvement, which assessment diagram was approved by the City Council of said <br />City on the 18th day of March, 1929. <br /> <br /> AND, WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha has given notice <br />required by law in which notice July 8, 1929, at the hour of V:50 o'clock P.M. was <br />fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the <br />place where any and all persons interested in the said work might ce heard; and, <br />whereas, no person aggrieved has filed with the City Council a written objection <br />to said assessment as required by law; and whereas, at the time ~e~ for hearing <br />protests or objections ~he City Council of said City proceeded to hear the same, <br />and all of said protests or objections to said assessment or the work done having <br />been heard, it ia hereby <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha that all of the <br />said protests or objections against said assessment or the work done uhder said <br />proceedings De, and the same are hereby overr~led and denied and the assessment <br />be affirmed, and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby directed to <br />attach to said assessment a warrant in the fo~m and manner required by law, and <br />shall record the same in the office of said Superintendent of Streets. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly <br />passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at an adjourned regular meetin <br />thereof held on the 8th day of July, 1929, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br /> Stanley E.
