RESOLUTION NO. 250~ A RES0~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING AN APPROPRIATION OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FROM GAS T~X RECEIPTS FOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WITHIN SAID CITY. follows: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, do Resolve as That it is deemed of advantage and necessary to c~use to be made certaiz highway improvements within the City of Santa Aha upon highways of general public use, and that connect with and as a part of a general City and County Highway System, the cost of which improvements it is deemed advisable to be paid from gasoline tax receipts allocated to the County of Orange, which contribution from said fund'for said purposes will be of material assistance and relief to the tax payers of said City. Now, Therefore, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby designate the following highways as most in need of immediate repair and improve- merit, the cost of which repair and improvement is the amount set forth after each such designated highway. 1. LOWELL STRE~'I' from Tenth Street to Washington Avenue. Grade, Gravel and Seal Coat $ 592.00 2. HALLADAY STREET from Delhi Road South to Pacific Electric Railroad Tracks Grad® and Seal Coat 602.51 3. ADA~S STREET from Halladay Street to Orange Avenue. Grade Mud Gravel 397.49 Total $ 1,592.00 The sum o f $592.00 requested for Lowell Street is in lieu of item 3 - ($427.00) and item 10 - ($165.00) as referred to in Resolution No,2~2~, dated May 20, 1935. That the City Engineer be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to present a oertifled copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, and to do and perform all acts necessary and incident to procuring the monies, equipment, and materials and expending'the same in cooperation with the rules and regulations of the County Board of Supervisors incident to the improve- ment of said htghway~ within said City of Santa Aha.
