RESOLUTION NO. 3151 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: THAT, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcels hereinafter described consist of those Certain 10ts and parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Ana by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the~ fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and WHEREAS, offers have been made for the purchase of said parcels by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the C~y Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby declare that it intends to and wiI1 at a regular meeting of said Council to be held on the 6th day of July, 1942, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the prices hereinafter set forth inmmediately following the description of said parcels to the person who has offered in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel or parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed t6 make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount of said bid. The said property is described as follows: Lot Four (4), Block Eight (8), Tract No. 39 . $60.00 Lot Two (9), Block "I", South Santa Aha . . $80.00 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of June, 1942.
