RESOLUTION 64-83 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, EXPRESSING <br />SUPPORT FOR SENATE BILL 2760 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council heretofore, by Resolution 64-53, <br />expressed its opposition to the Pacific Southwest Water Plan <br />offered and modified by Secretary of Interior Udall and outlined <br />its reasons for such opposition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council agrees to the necessity of <br />studying the water problems of all of the Pacific Southwest and <br />of all sources of imported water thereto, but firmly bel-ieves that <br />no plan ultimately arrived at should provide for the abandonment <br />of the Metropolitan Water District's Colorado River Aqueduct and <br />believes that Senate Bill Number 2760 introduced by Senator Thomas <br />Kuchel offers the best approach yet suggested to determine the <br />extent of the problem and to propose solutions therefor. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council Of the <br />City of Santa Aha, California, that they urge support of Senate <br />Bill Number 2760 and request active effort from all California <br />legislators seeking its passage. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF _SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
