RESOLUTION 64-108 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, EXPRESSING <br />SUPPORT FOR H.R. 11395 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has for <br />many years consistently maintained that the supply of potable water <br />was the most serious long range problem facing Southern California <br />and has repeatedly urged that studies be made for the utilization <br />of such water now wasted to the Pacific; and, in furtherance thereof, <br />said City Council adopted Resolution 64-53, expressing opposition to <br />the Pacific Southwest Water Plan offered and modified by Secretary <br />of Interior Udall, therein stating its reasons, and adopted <br />Resolution 64-83, expressing support for Senate Bill 2760. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha, California, that it urges support for and passage <br />of H.R. 11395 now pending before the House of Representatives as <br />the best approach so far offered to the study of the entire Colorado <br />River Basin problem. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />C¥.ERK o~TH~ COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFOP/gIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
