123 discretion of the Board of Trustees according to the character and nature of the work to be perforated and the amount of risk assumed by the said City. Section $. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the .provisions of Section I hereof shall be deemed guilty of a misden~eanor and upon conviction thereof shall bo fined not in excess of ~lO0.O0 or imprison~ent in the City Jail not exceeding 50 day;~ or by both such fine and imprisonment at the discreticn of the Court. Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt- ion of this Ordinance and shall cause the s~e to be publish- ed once in the "Evening Blade" a newspaper of general circula- tion in said City, and the same being for the i~.:ediate pro teotion of the public thereupon and thereafter it shall be in full force and effect.
