(The use hereinafter in this Crdinance of the words or phrase "West Seventeenth Street paving" is intended to mean and shall at all times be construed to mean the municipal improvement described in this Section and set forth in Resolution No. ?59.) It is hereby further determined ~nd declared that the Board of Trustees of the city of Senta Ana propose to incur a bond- ed debt and to issue and sell the bonds of pay the cost of said municipal improvement, Street pavinE. the city of Santa Aha to to-wit: West Seventeenth ~s objects and purposes for which the indebtedness is proposed to be incurred is to pay the cost of the construction of the West Seventeenth Street paving in order to m~:e Test Seventeenth Strset, a public street in the city of Santa Aha, safe, adequate and convenient for public travel. ~ne cost of the West Seventeenth Street paving is es- timated to be $16,000.00, and th~ amount of the princi~al of the indebtedness to be incurred therefor is the sum of $16,000.00, which sum is ~nd will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary an~uual income end revenue of the city of Santa Aha. The maximum rate of interest to be paid on such indebted- ness is hereby fixed at five per cent. per ~nnum, payable semi- annually, which rate of interest shall not be exceeded in the is- suance of bonds for such indebtedness. Section 6. It having been determined and decls-red by Resolution No, ~59 of the city of Santa An~, passed by the vote of two-thirds and more of all the members of the Board of Trustees of said city, as the legislative branch thereof, that the public interest and also the public necessity demands the construction by the city of Santa Aha of a municipal improvement, being a fire engine house, consist- ing of the acquisition of the necessary land in the easterly psurt of the city.of Santa Aha upon which to construct a fire engine house the acquisition of the necessary material, apparatus, and appliances with which to construct and the construction on said land of a fire engine house, equipped and connected with the fire alarm system of the city of Santa Ana, in order to c-~rry out the objects, purposes, and powers of the city cf Santa Ana, and the cost thereof will be too great to be paid out cf the ordinary annual income ~ud revenue of the city of Santa Aha.
