ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance of the city of Santa Aha, by its Board of Trustees, as the legislative branch thereof, order- ing the submission to the qualified voters of the city of Santa Aha several propositions of incurring a bonded debt for the purposes set forth in Resolution No. 939 of said city; calling an election for that purpose, recitin~ the objects and purposes for which the indebtedness is proposed to be,incurred, the estimated cost of each public improvement, the amount of the principal of the indebtedness to be incurred therefor, a maximum rate of interest to be paid on such indebtedness, and fixing the date on which Such election will be held, the manner of holding such election and the voting for or against incurring such indebtedness, and providing that in all particulars not recited in this Ordinance such __ election shall be held municipal elections in Whereas, Santa Aha, as as provided by law for holding the city of Santa Zna. the Board of Trustees of the city of the le~islative branch of said city, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of February, 192~, by the vote of two-thirds of all the members thereof, passed nesol~tion ~Oo 989 of the city of Santa Aha, determining that the public interest and also the public necessity demands the acquisition, construction, and completion by the city of Santa Aha of several municipal improvements, each of which is set forth in Hesolution No. 9~9, and are necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes, and powers of the city of Sant~ Ana, the cost of which will be too great to he paid out of t~e ordinary annual income and revenue of the munlcip~llty; ~ow therefore, at this a subsequent meeting of the legislative branch of s~id city, after the p~ss~ge of Resolution No. 939: The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana do ordain as follows:- Section 1. It havi~g been determined by nesolution No4 9~9 of the city of Santa ~n~, passed by the vote of two-thirds of all the member~ of the Board of Trustees of said city, that the public interest and-- ~lso the public necessity demands the completion of a municipal improvement by the city of ~anta Ana, to- wit: the municipal water works thereof, consisting of the acquisition of ~pproximately 1VV,$O0 feet of cast iron Bell and Spigot Class "B" water pipe of sizes varying from four to ten inches, internal diam- eter, together with the necessary hydrants, valves, gates and fittings in the streets, alleys, and rights of way of the city of Santa Aha, all properly connect- ed to the municipal water works of the city of Santa Aha, in order to carry out the objects, purpose and powers of the city of ~anta ~,na, and the cost there- of will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary
