ORDINANCE N~). 800 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANCTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 624 OF SAID CITY AND LEGALIZING THE PLAYING OF BOX BALL OR AT BONLING ON SUNDAY. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, do ordain as follows:- SECTION I. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 624 of the City of Santa Ana, b~amended and that as amended shall read and be as fol- lows, to-wit: Section 4. It shall be unlawful to operate or carry on any Box Ball or Bowling Alley in the City of Santa Aha, Calif~'nla, at any week day hour later than twelve o'clock midnight, nor earlier than 8 o'clock A.M. of the following day; or on Sunday between the hour of eight o'clock A.M. and one o'clock PM., and further provided that such business shall not be carried on in any room or place where there is any petition or obstruction separating or in whole any section of such room or place from any other ~ rt of section thereof so as to obstruct a clear view of such room or place from the street fronting upon such place of business. Nothing herein contained shall apply to prevent the mainte- nance of toilets in any such room or Dlace. SECTION II. The Board of Trustees do further ordain that all other sections of Ordinance No. 624 except Section 4, thereof shall remain and be in full force and effect. SECTION III. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily ~vening Register, and it shall be in full force and effect thrity (30) days after its first publication. I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was regularly introduced and read at its regular adjourned meeting held on the 28th day of October, 1926, and passedmat its regular meeting held on the 1st day of November, 1926, by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees C.H.
