premises ~vhere such machine or apparatus is located, shall constitute a sufficient <br />no,Lice for the purpose of this Ordinance, In the event that the owner or operator <br />of such machine or apparatus does not within forty-eight (4~) hours after receipt of <br />such notice to repair or discontinue the use of such machine or apparatus, either <br />entirely discontinue the use of same during the hours when the use of such machine or <br />apparatus is prohibited by this Ordinance, or repair the samc, or make the necessary <br />additions or modifications thereof so that it complied with the .provisions of this <br />Ordinance, such owner shall be deemed to be operating such machine or apparatus in <br />violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, and such person shall be subject to the <br />penalties hereinafter provided for such violatLon. <br /> <br /> Section 5. .¢ny person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions <br />of this Ordinance shall be deemed gu~ ty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof <br />shall be punishable by a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or by <br />imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Orange for ,a period of not more than <br />sixty (60) days, or by both such fine End imprisonment. <br /> <br /> That each day during which any person s~all Violate the provisions of this <br />Ordinance shall be deemed to and shall constitute a separate offense and be subject to <br />the penalties herein provided. <br /> <br /> Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify tO the pass~ge of this Ordinance and <br />cause the same to be published three times in the Santa ~kua Dail~Evening Register, a <br />daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of, Santa ,~ua, and said <br />Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. <br /> <br /> The foregoing Ordinance is approved this 17th day of June, 1929. <br /> <br /> F.
