premises ~vhere such machine or apparatus is located, shall constitute a sufficient no,Lice for the purpose of this Ordinance, In the event that the owner or operator of such machine or apparatus does not within forty-eight (4~) hours after receipt of such notice to repair or discontinue the use of such machine or apparatus, either entirely discontinue the use of same during the hours when the use of such machine or apparatus is prohibited by this Ordinance, or repair the samc, or make the necessary additions or modifications thereof so that it complied with the .provisions of this Ordinance, such owner shall be deemed to be operating such machine or apparatus in violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, and such person shall be subject to the penalties hereinafter provided for such violatLon. Section 5. .¢ny person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed gu~ ty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of Orange for ,a period of not more than sixty (60) days, or by both such fine End imprisonment. That each day during which any person s~all Violate the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed to and shall constitute a separate offense and be subject to the penalties herein provided. Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify tO the pass~ge of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa ~kua Dail~Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of, Santa ,~ua, and said Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage.
