SECTION 3: That there .is hereby created a Board of Nuseum Trustees, consistin of five members, to be appointed by and hold office at the will of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana. That said Board of Museu~ Trustees shall receive no compensatio for their services. They shall act in an advisory capacity to the said.City Council of the City of Santa Ana in the adoption of suitable plans For the building to be con- structed on said premises, as hereinbefore provided for, the furnishing of said building and the beautifying of the grounds. They shall elect one of their members as Chairmmn and one as Secretary, and shall hold meetings at such times and places as shall be fixed by said Board of Nuseum Trustees. They shall recommend to the City Council of the City of Santa Aha such person or persons as may be required to superintend said Musetun ~uilding and grounds, and shall from time to time recormnend to the City Council of said City 'the acquisition of suitable displays and objects for said Museum. ~ey shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the City Council of said City shall Erom time to time prescribe. They shall make an annual report to the City Council of the City of Santa Ana showing the general condition of s~id MuseLun and what said Board of Museum Trustees have accomplished during the preceding year. SECTION 4~ The City Council of the City of Santa Ana shall proceed to employ a competent architect to prepare suitable plans and specifications for the building to be constructed upo~ said grounds, and for beautifying the said grounds, and perfoEn such other acts as are required to be done under the terms of said trust agreement, within the time and in t~e manner therein specified. SECTION 5: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Santa Ana, and thirt~ days after its final passage this ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
