RESOLUTION NO. 62-2~ AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />RESCINDING A PORTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 62-3 AND <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 62-9 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Santa <br />Aha has determined that the Delhi Drainage District "West Ditch", <br />which lies between Sunflower Avenue and Talbert Avenue in the City of <br />Santa Ana, is no longer in use and is unnecessary for drainage <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Santa Ana <br />should execute a quitclaim deed to the owners of property through <br />which said "West Ditch" passes, quitclaiming to said owners any right, <br />title or interest that the City may have in said "West Ditch". <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br /> <br />of the Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quit- <br /> <br />as to an undivided half interest and JOSEPH R. CALLENS as t9 am <br /> <br />any interest of the City of Santa Aha in that portion of the Delhi <br /> <br />Drainage District "West Ditch", which lies within the following <br /> <br />described property: <br /> <br />That portion of the land allotted to James McFadden in <br />decree of partition of Rancho Santiago de Santa Aha, <br />recorded in Book "B", Judgments of the Seventeenth Judicial <br />District Court of California, said land being located in the <br />County of Orange, State of California, and described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of the land conveyed to <br />Isaac Hickey by deed recorded January 21, 1874, in Book 27, <br />Page 448 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California; <br />thence North 40 chains; thence East 10 chains; thence South <br />40 chains; thence West 10 chains to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />and deliver the same to said owners. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That that portion of Resolution NO. <br />62-3 authorizing execution of a quitclaim deed to VIRGINIE CALLENS, <br />also known as VIRGINIA CALLENS, MARY GISLER and WALTER GISLER, and <br />Res.9~utio___n_N~9~.,_~i~.,~re hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
