ORDINANCE N0. 991. AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HOURS FOR THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS. The City Council of the City of Santa Aha ordains as follows: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, engaging in the sale of intoxicating liquors, to sell, give away, or deliver to any person, any intoxicating liquor between the hours of 12:00 midnight and $:00 A.M. of the same day. SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation, who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($§0~).00), or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period of not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisodment. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to t~e passage of this Ordinance, and cause the same to be published three (5) times in the "~Santa Aha Daily Evening Register", a daily newspaper, printed, published and generally circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and the same shall take effect and be in force thirty days after the first publication thereof.
