RESOLUTION NO. 62~165 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF <br />WARNER AVENUE AND MAIN STREET FOR STREET WIDENING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Warner Avenue and South Main Street as they presently <br />exist in the area of their intersection are inadequate for present or <br />future traffic flow. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that public use, <br /> <br />benefit, safety, econc~y and general welfare require that Warner <br /> <br />Avenue and Main Street be widened on the Southerly and Westerly sides, <br /> <br />respectively, as shown on maps thereof on file in the office of the <br /> <br />Department of Public Works and herein referred to for greater detail, <br /> <br />to accommodate the demands of traffic, and further require that the <br /> <br />City do have, take and acquire an easement for all the purposes of a <br /> <br />public street over that certain land in the City of Santa Ana, County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: An easement for street purposes along the South <br />29 feet of the North 54 feet of the following described <br />property: <br /> <br />That portion of the Northeast quarter of Section 25, in <br />Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and <br />Meridian, described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 25; thence <br />South 0° 39' 45" West along the Easterly line of said <br />Section 25, a distance of 250.00 feet; thence North 89° 20' <br />15" West 322.00 feet; thence North 0° 39' 45" East 250.00 feet <br />to the Northerly line of said Section 25; thence Easterly <br />along the said Northerly line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: An easement for street purposes along the South <br />135-feet of the West 27 feet of the East 60 feet of the <br />following described property: <br /> <br />That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter <br />of Section 25, in Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San <br />Bernardino Base and Meridian, beginning at the Northeast <br />corner of said Section 25, said point also being the inter- <br />section of the center line of Delhi Road with the center line <br />of Main Street; thence North 89° 22' 10" West along the North <br />line of said section and the center line of Delhi Road, 210.00 <br />feet; thence South 0° 39, 45" West 159.00 feet; thence South <br />70° 55' 54" East 47.43 feet; thence South 89° 22' 10" East <br />60.00 feet; thence South 70~ 55' 54" East 47.43 feet; thence <br />South 89° 22' 10" East 60.00 feet to a point in the East line <br />of said section and on the center line of Main Street, South <br />0° 39' 45" West 189.00 feet from the point of beginning; thence <br />North 0° 39' 45" East along the East line of said section, <br />189.00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
