8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br />29 <br /> <br />$0 <br /> <br />~2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 62-175 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAINING AND <br />DETERMINING THE PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES TO <br />BE PAID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN HARBOR BOULEVARD AND CERTAIN <br />OTHER STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS IN <br />~SESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 218 IN SAID CITY AND <br />ALSO TO APPLY TO SUBSEQUENT PUBLIC WORKS AND <br />IMPROVEMENTS UNTIL THE AMENDMENT OR REVOCATION <br />OF THIS RESOLUTION. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />california, did on the 6th day of August, 1962, adopt its Resolu- <br />tion of Intention No. 62-156; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of <br />the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary that the <br />City Council of the City of Santa Aha ascertain and determine the <br />general prevailing rate of wages on public works, and the provi- <br />sions of said code make it mandatory upon the awarding body of any <br />public contract where said body subsequently calls for bids for <br />any public improvement to ascertain and determine the general' <br />prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which the <br />work is to be performed, for each craft or type of workman or <br />mechanic needed to execute the contract, and also the general <br />prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work in each craft <br />or type of workman or mechanic. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That it, the said City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana, after due inquiry has ascertained and does hereby <br />determine that the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in <br />the City of Santa Aha, which also includes thehlocality in which <br />the work described is to be performed in the matter of the con- <br />struction of certain improvements in Harbor Boulevard and other <br />streets, alleys and easements in Assessment Distriet No. 218 in <br />said City, for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
