RESOLUTION NO. 62-237 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />Ii~:~IO~ TO VACATE ALLEY NOn~H OF TENTH STRUT <br />gND EAST OF MAI?! STRE~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a request for the vacation of an unnamed alley, herein described, was received and referred to the Depart- <br />ment of Public Works and the Planning Department, which said Departments recommended approval of the abandonment sub- <br />ject to certain conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby adopts the map attached hereto and orders the same <br />filed with the original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council; reference is hereby made to said <br />map for the exterior boundaries of the alley right of way proposed to be vacated. <br /> <br /> The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this vacation under the provisions of the street Vacation <br />Act of 1941 (Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and Nighways Code) to vacate that certain unnamed <br />alley in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> An unnamed alley between Tenth and Eleventh Streets which is 12 feet in width and runs fr~m <br /> Bush Street Westerly to a line parallel with and 45 feet East of the surveyed center line of <br /> Main Street measured at right angles. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana maintains underground service in said alley now serving <br />traffic signals at the intersection of Tenth and Main Streets which requires the reservation of a utility easement to <br />maintain said service and all other City operated utility services in the area until such time as the adjoining land- <br />owners have paid for the relocation of the same together with the right to repair, replace and relocate any such City <br />owned utility '~structures. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That before said alley may be used by the abutting landowners provision must be made <br /> <br />by agreement for the completion of the work to remove the existing alley drive approach on Main Street and to install <br />standard curb, gutter and sidewalk. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That January 21, 1963, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, <br />Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearinE all persons interested <br /> <br /> in or objecting to said proposed street vacation. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of <br /> <br />December, 1962. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> DORIS M.
