Dillon in the sum of $12,500.00 for alleged injuries <br /> sustained in a fall which occurred on the north side of West Fifth <br /> Street, about 36 feet west of English Stree$, was referred to the <br /> <br /> City Attorney and Insurance Carrier. <br /> # <br /> A petition was read signed by ~rt Huff, President, SUnshin~ Homes, <br /> requesting annexation to the City of certain uninhabited real pre <br /> located in the County of Orange and described as follows: The <br /> <br /> 660 feet of Lot J, of the revised plat of the West Tract. Beginning <br /> at a point in the cent.~r line of Bristol Street distant 662.50 fe~t <br /> northerly from the intersection of the center line of Edinger Street <br /> with the center line of said Bristol Street, thence northerly along <br /> the center line of said Bristol Street 660 feet to a point; thence <br /> westerly and parallel to the center line of Edinger Street, 1320 feet <br /> to a point; thence southerly and parallel to the center line of <br /> Street 660 feet to the northwest corner of Tract No. 1508; thence <br /> easterly along the northerly llne of said Tract No. 1508 a distance <br /> of 1320 feet to the point of beginning. On motion of Trustee Hunter <br /> seconded by Dahl and carried, the petition was referred to the <br /> Administrator and Planning Engineer for report at the next meeting. <br /> On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and Revised <br /> Tentative Map of Tract 1575 approved which shows Orange Avenue sixty <br /> feet wide and the lot at the southwest corner of Orange Avenue and <br /> Delhi Road well rounded to reduce the effect of the Jog in Orange <br /> Avenue at the intersection of that street with Delhi Road, and <br /> <br />original Tentative Map of Tra~ 1575 disapproved. <br /> ,, <br /> On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and Tentative <br /> Map of Tract 1589 approved, being property bounded on the north by the <br /> westerly extension of Myrtle Street, on the east by Bristol Street, on <br /> the south by Willits Avenue, and on the west by a line approximately <br /> 1280 feet west of Bristol Street, upon the condition that Pacific <br /> <br /> Avenue be made sixty feet wide. <br /># <br /> Communication and Resolution No.420 of the Planning Commission were <br /> read recommending that the Districting Ordinance be amended to reclass] <br /> from R-1 to R-2 District Lots 18, 83, 85, 85, 86, 87 and 88 in Tract <br /> No. 1508 which property lies north of the market property located on <br /> the northwest corner of Bristol and Edinger Streets and six of the <br /> lots front on Bristol Street. On motion of Trustee Dahl, s~conded by <br /> Jerome and carried, a notice of oublic hearing was ordered published <br /> setting date as March 3, 1952 to reclassify to the R-2 District the <br /> property described in Resolution No. $20. <br /> <br /> Roy Greenleaf appeared before the Council objecting ~o the reclass- <br /> ification of a portion of the area bounded by First, McClay, Fourth <br /> and Wright Streets.
