Hunter. <br />None <br /> <br />Chandlero <br /> <br />Trustee Hunter stated that his reason for voting "no" was his object- <br />ion to the half-width st~'eet on the north. <br /> <br />Oommunlcation was read from the Planning Commission recommending dis- <br />approval of Tentative Nap of Tract No. 1608 for the reason that <br />satisfactory provisions for disposition of water from local surface <br />drainage had not been made, or was not in evidence, and no rights-of- <br />way or easements for connecting the proposed sewer lines of the sub- <br />division with the existing city sewerage system were presented, which <br />map represents approximately 46 acres of land bounded on the north <br />roughly by the north bank of Santiago Creek and on the east by North <br />Bristol Street and extending west approximately to the Santa Aha River <br />bed. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and Tentative <br /> <br />Map of Tract No. 1608 wam dissappr~ved. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, the <br />AdministratOr was instructed to communicate with the County Flood <br />0ontrol District requesting a w~itten opinion regarding the flood <br />~azar~t on approximately 46 acres of land bounded on the north roughly <br />by the north bank of Santiago Creek and on the east by North Bristol <br />Street and extending west approximately to the Santa Ana River bed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Allen H. Lester to permit any use allowed in the C-2 ' <br />District, including a general garage, except as to the westerly 25 <br />feet of the parcel, where automobile parking would be allowed and the <br />front yard requirement waived for such parking purpome~, at llil North, <br />Sycamore Street, smbJect to certain conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />g~anted to Elmer G. Blsk to permit a sign painting business in exist- <br />ing garage on rear of.lot at 2632 W. First Street, subject to certain <br /> <br />conditions. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Barhugh Estates to permit four temporary tract sales signs <br />lOIxlO~ in size on Tract No. 1508, which is bounded on the south by <br />Edlnger Street and on the east by Bristol Streets; the signs to be <br />distributed one each on Lots 27, 75, 85 and 88, subject to the conditi <br />that the four signs permitted shall be removed by owner and et his <br /> <br /> expense within six months from the date that the variance is granted. <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HcBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Victor C. Bilverstein to permit four three-room apartments <br />and five garages, at 1714 Jefferson P~ace, subject to certain <br />conditions. <br /> <br />~n <br /> <br /> <br />
