SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT (See instruction on reverse) <br />This project site will initiate a comprehensive, multi -agency program to coordinate the delivery of criminal <br />justice and social services to eliminate violent crime, drug -trafficking, and drug -related crime and to provide a <br />safe environment for law-abiding citizens to live, work, and raise a family. Through the application of <br />coordinated law enforcement and criminal justice services in a target neighborhood, the City will "weed" from that <br />neighborhood criminal offenders engaged in drug crimes and other violent offenses, stabilize the neighborhood <br />through coanunity-oriented policing, and "seeci" that neighborhood with housing, employment, and social sustaining <br />programs. <br />Cd/ncf <br />0JP FORM 4000/1 (REV. 4-88) <br />
