Department of Justice. The <br />Assistant Attorney General, Office of Justice Programs, <br />coordinates the activities of the following program offices <br />and bureaus: Bureau of Justice Assistance, Bureau of <br />Justice Statistics, National -Institute of <br />Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency <br />Prevention, and the Office for Victims of Crime. Points of <br />view in this document are those of the author and do not <br />necessarily represent the official position <br />or policies of the U.S. Department of Justice." <br />4. Grantee agrees that all income generated as a direct result <br />of this project shall be deemed program income. It must be <br />accounted for and it must be used for the purposes and under <br />the conditions applicable to the use of grant funds. This <br />is in accordance with regulations for program income under <br />the Common Rule, Uniform Administrative Requirements for <br />grants and Cooperative Agreements. <br />5. Grantee shall be aware that lodging, meals, and incidental <br />expenses (M & IE) relative to OJP sponsored conferences <br />shall generally be limited to the established Federal rate <br />for the geographic location of the conference. Any <br />exception to this policy must be justified as cost effective <br />and will require the prior approval of the Bureau of Justice <br />Assistance and the Office of the Comptroller, OJp. Any such <br />conference costs exceeding the Federal rate and incurred <br />without prior justification and prior approval will be <br />disallowed- <br />OJP FORM 4000/2 (REV. 5-87) PREVIOUS EDITIONS ARE OBSOLETE_ <br />
