Comm. <br />(abandon portion <br />of Orange Ave.) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Tentative Map <br />Tract No. 1502 <br /> <br />and the area designated as "C" in said communication be designated.as <br /> <br />M-1 industrial areas cf the City of Santa Aha. That the Planning <br /> <br />Commission be dlreeted to immediately commence proceedings to rezone <br /> <br />tho. se portions of said areas now contained within the corporate limits <br /> <br />of the City of Santa Aha to M-1 industrial zone. That it be hereby <br /> <br />established that at such time as the portions of said smeas which are <br /> <br />not at this time within the cox~porate limits of the City of Santa Aha <br /> <br />become annexed to the City of Santa Aha they shall be zoned M-1. That <br /> <br />a copy of this motion, together with the descriptions of said areas be <br />forwarded to the County of Orange Planning Commission with a communical'~on <br />advising them of this action and referring them to the existing #zone <br />of influence agreement". <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee of the Joint Outfall Sewer and on <br />motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the bid of <br /> <br />John Wiley Jones Co. Inc., was accepted for the furnishing of chlorine <br /> <br />at the Joint Outfall Sewer, and all other bids rejected. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of T~ustee Dahl, <br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the bid of Sully-Miller Contracting <br /> <br />Co., was accepted for the improvement of West Cubbon Str.eet from Bristo~ <br />Street to Shelton Street. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of T~ustee Hunter, <br /> <br />s~econded by Dahl and carried, the bid of the Pacific States Cast Iron <br />Pipe Company, in the sum of $39,74?.50, was accepted for the furnishing <br />of 5000 feet 12 inch, 10,000 feet 6 inch, 500 feet 14 inch and 500 feet~ <br />16 inch cast iron pipe, and all other bids rejected. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending that <br /> <br />the Council abandon the southerly portion of Orange Avenue and on <br /> <br /> motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the communi- <br /> <br /> cation was received and filed. <br /> # <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending ,approva~ <br />of Tentative Map of Tract No. 1502, submitted by D.D.Hillyard for Hmgh <br />Neighbour, Jr., consisting of nine lots bounded on the west by Bristol <br />Street, on the north by Santa Clara Avenue and lying approximately <br /> <br />122 feet west of Baker Street.
