In Re Protest Amalia A. Eastman In Re Request Mrs.E.M.Goddard (stop sign, etc.) Communication was read from Amalia A. Eastman protesting the ruling that pruned branches be cut up small enough to tie or to fit into boxes and on motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the matter was referred to the Administrator for reply. # Communication was read from Mrs. E.M.Goddard, 708 West 8th St., requesting that a boulevard stop sign be installed on Broadway at 8thi or that a red curb for at least two car lengths be established in front of the office building located on the north side of 8th St., an that a "slow" sign be painted on the pavement on 8th Street at Parten~ On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request was referred to the Administrator, Engineer and Chief of In Re Request Jasper Farney (40 ft. approach) In Re Request John O. Haley (set-back line on ~istol from 17th to Memory Lane) Police. # On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the request of Jasper Farney for a forty foot approach to the eight-family apart- ment building on the corner of Vance and Minter Streets, was referred to the City Engineer for report and recommendation at the next meeting. Communication was read from John O. Haley requesting that a set-back line be established on Bristol Street from 17th Street to Memory Lane before the plans are approved for the subdivision or any improvements made. On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request was In Re Request Mrs. G.R.Dorfsmith (loading zone) denied for the reason that two subdivisions have been approved and curb constructed within the city limits, and Mr. Haley so notified. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of Mrs. G.R.Dorfsmith, 520 E. 4th Street, that a loading be established in front of their shop for the convenience of trdeks loading and unloading, was referred to the Administrator, Engineer In Re Request S.J.Francis, D.C. (loading zone,etc.) and Chief of Police. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of S.J.Francis, D.C., 214 South Broadway, that a fifty-foot ~cading zone be established immediately in front of his office and that a two-hour parking zone be established for the 200 block South Broadway, was referred to the Administrator, Engineer and Chief of In Re Agreement Coca-Cola Bottling Co. (Morrison's Market) Police. # On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the request of Coca-Cola Bottling Company on behalf of Morrison's Market, for permission to install a sign at 812 East First Street, which will In Re Reports extend over and upon the five foot set-back l~ne, was granted and officials authorized to execute an agreement provided the Company signs an affidavit that the sign will be remove~ without cost and at the request of the City. # On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter. and carried, the reports of the Building Department and Police Department for the In Re Beverage Application month of March, 1953, were received and filed. # On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the notification of the State Board of Equalization of alcoholic beverage application made by Nick B. and Peter B. Pappas, 216 West Third Street, was received and filed. #
