<br /> Statement of Qualifications
<br /> b. Services Provided
<br /> Ability to Meet Requirements
<br /> IU will provide competent interpretation and translation services on an as-needed basis, ensuring
<br /> compliance with all applicable State and local laws. Our services will include live, in-person, telephonic,
<br /> and virtual simultaneous interpretation for City Council meetings,public meetings,workshops,interviews,
<br /> and various events in languages specified and as requested by the City.
<br /> For telephonic interpretation services, IU will provide a single, toll-free number for access, conference-
<br /> calling services, and interpreters for all languages listed in the RFP and those not included, if needed, at
<br /> competitive rates.We will accommodate urgent requests as soon as possible and as required by the City.
<br /> In addition to interpretation services, IU will translate various documents, reports, forms, posters,
<br /> brochures, legal documents, and websites from English into requested languages and vice versa. We will
<br /> also provide services to format documents into "Plain Language English" as needed, ensuring accurate
<br /> and timely delivery of translated documents within time frame requested by the City.
<br /> IU's translation services will adhere to the City's formatting requirements and will be provided in various
<br /> formats,including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,InDesign,Photoshop,and Adobe PDF.We will also
<br /> provide sight translation of documents during face-to-face events and offsite translation services if
<br /> requested. We offer a comprehensive suite of services,including translation,review,formatting in audio,
<br /> and desktop publishing. This ensures that the translated documents not only accurately convey the
<br /> content but also adhere to industry standards in terms of layout and formatting.
<br /> For audio content, IU will provide real-time verbatim closed-captioning for public meetings, live and pre-
<br /> recorded events, media, and forums. Our captioning services will be synchronized with the audio,
<br /> displayed at a speed readable by viewers, and will match spoken words and convey background noises
<br /> accurately.We will ensure a high degree of accuracy,with an accuracy rate of 95 percent or greater,and
<br /> will provide unedited and edited caption transcripts in English within specified timelines.
<br /> c. Agreement Statement
<br /> IU agrees with the terms and conditions specified in Section III—Scope of Services.
