<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee McBride,
<br /> seconded by Jerome and carried, the request of six property owners on
<br /> Bash Street that one-hour parking be established on Bush Street from
<br /> 10th to 12th Streets, was denied.
<br />
<br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Jerome,
<br /> seconded by Lateen and carried, the request of Lithographic Arts, Inc.,
<br /> 118 North Sycamore Street, that a loading zone be established in fronl
<br /> of their place of business was granted and the Director of Public
<br /> Works instructed to prepare necessary Resolution.

<br /> On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br /> following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance amending Section 3216 of the Santa
<br /> Aha Municipal Code providing parking limitations"
<br />
<br /> was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br /> The City Manager recommended that the low bid of R.J.Noble be
<br /> accepted for the widening of South Main Street with the deletion of
<br />
<br /> Item 12 which Mr. Noble had agreed to delete and recommendedthe
<br />
<br />adoption efa Resolution ordering that the City perform the work under
<br /> Item 12 by force account and that gas tax funds not be used on any of
<br /> said project, the same to be paid from the street bond monies now in
<br /> the hands of the City. On recommendation of the City Manager and on
<br /> motion of Trustee Larsen, seconded by Jerome and carried, the expend-
<br /> iture of monies was authorized for the construction of South Main
<br /> Street from the street bond fund.

<br />On recommendation of the City Manager and on motion of Trustee Jerome,
<br />seconded by Larsen and carried, the bid of R.J.Noble Company, with the
<br />deletion of Item 12, was accepted, for the widening of South Main
<br />Street from Anahurst Place to McFadden Street, and all other bids
<br />rejected.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee McBride,
<br />seconded by Jerome and carried, the bid of Nick M. Guho, in the sum of
<br />$52,207.00, was accepted for the construction of a 33" R.C. pipe
<br />sewer on Pine Street, from Shelton to Flower Streets; on Flower Btreetl
<br />from Pine to Walnut Streets; on Walnut Street, from Flower to Patton
<br />Streets; and on Parton Street from Walnut to Third Streets, and all
<br />other bide rejected.
