Sycamore Street. <br /> . <br /> On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Larsen and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br /> granted to Lewis C. Elliott to permit change of the use of the present <br /> building at 1701 Spurgeon-301 E. 17th Street from an R-2 use to a <br /> general commercial office; subject to no signs being erected on <br /> <br /> Spurgeon Street. <br /> # <br />Communication and Resolution No. 545 of the Planning Commission were <br />read on the application of Allison Honer, recommending the reclassifi- <br />cation of the southwest corner of 15th and College Avenue from R-1 to <br />R-3 Zone. On motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by Jerome and car- <br />ried, a notice of public hearing was ordered published setting date as <br />September 8th, 1953. <br /> <br />Communication and Resolution No. 543 of the Planning Commission were <br />read on the application of Allison Honer, recommending the reclassifi- <br />cation of the northwest corner of 17th and Bristol Streets from R-1 <br />and R-2 to C-2 Zone. On motion of Councilman Larsen, seconded by <br />Jerome and carried, a notice of public hearing was ordered published <br />setting date of hearing as September 8th, 1953. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission having recommended the denial of the applicati, <br />of J. R. Sandstrom, it was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Larse~ <br /> be granted, <br />and carried, that the request of J. R. Sandstrom/to withdraw his appll <br /> <br />cation for reclassification of a parcel of land consisting of 6.15 <br />acres situated between Myrtle, Oak, Halladay and Bishop Streets.
