ROSENBAUM, WHERE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL <br /> <br /> WHER__w. AS, on April 4, 1960 the City Council adopted Resolu- <br />tion No. 60-60 granting a Variance where the Planning Commission <br />had recommended denial and one of the expressed conditions was in <br />error and should be corrected. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 60-60 <br /> <br />is hereby rescinded and the City Council finds that special circum- <br /> <br />stances attach because the property, known and numbered as 301 S. <br /> <br />Sycamore Street, Santa Ana, has two old dwellings located thereon <br /> <br />and that the property is deprived of uses now available to other <br /> <br />property in the area and that the requested use will not be detri- <br /> <br />mental to surrounding property. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Variance is hereby granted <br />to permit the use of the property herein described for display and <br />sale of used cars in connection with the property immediately East <br /> <br />of this parcel facing on Main Street, on the following conditions: <br /> 1. That the buildings presently existing on this property <br /> be entirely removed therefrom. <br /> <br /> 2. That a block wall not less than five feet high be con, <br /> structed, as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) on the North edge of the existing drive, commencing <br /> at the West property line Easterly to a point even <br /> with the garage on the abutting property to the <br /> South; <br /> <br /> (b) A concrete wall fence not less than five feet high <br /> along the West property line with a ten-foot radius <br /> at the corner of Pine and Sycamore Streets, said <br /> wall to end ten feet East of the West property line <br /> (which is at the end of the radius). <br /> <br /> <br />
