Published twice because it vacates a e" Pub Wks~ Planning <br />lm~blic Sewer e~sement on: <br /> <br />Oct. 15 & 22, 1960 <br /> <br />P~ESOLUTION NO. 60-179 APPROVING MAP AND <br />DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE A STRIP OF LAND <br />FOURTEEN FEET WIDE RUNNING NORTH FROM FIRST <br />STREET WEST OF TOWNSEND STREET WHICH HAS BEEN <br />A PUBLIC SEWER EASemeNT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Department of <br />Public Works, and after study, the City Council has determined <br />that the sewer easement herein described is probably unnecessary <br />for present or future sewer purposes and should be abandoned. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br /> <br />hereby adopts the map attached hereto and orders that the same <br /> <br />filed as a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk <br /> <br />of the Council, and reference is hereby made to said map for <br /> <br />particulars as to the sewer easement vacation herein proposed, <br /> <br />and the City Council declares its intention to vacate for public <br /> <br />sewer purposes the easement located in the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />County of Orange, State of California, and described as: <br /> <br /> A strip of land 14 feet in width, being 7 feet on <br />each side, measured at right angles from the following <br />described line: <br /> Beginning at a point on the center line of First <br />Street in the City of Santa Aha which bears South 89° <br />29' 00" West 1031.34 feet from the monumented inter- <br />section of the center lines of said First Street and <br />Daisy Street and running thence North 00° 07' 00" <br />West 87S.86 feet; thence North 89° 28' 30" West 40.00 <br />feet, said 14 foot strip being bounded Southerly by a <br />line which is parallel with and 52 feet Northerly, <br />measured at right angles, from said center line of <br />First Street. Excepting therefrom that portion thereof <br />lying within a strip of land 20 feet in width, the <br />center line of which is described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly <br />extended center line of West Second Street with the <br />Westerly line of Townsend Street as shown on a map of <br />the Fisher Tract, filed in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, <br />Page 90, Records of Orange County, California; and <br />running thence Westerly in a straight line parallel to <br />said West First Street to a point 1100 feet. <br /> Also Excepting therefrom that portion thereof lying <br />within a strip of land 20 feet in width, the center line <br />of which is described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly <br />extended center line of West '~nird Street with the <br />Westerly line of Townsend Street as shown on a map of the <br />Fisher Tract, filed in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, Page 90, <br />Records of Orange County, California; and running thence <br />Westerly in a straight line parallel to said West First <br />Street to a point 1100 feet. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
