• Utility Conflicts <br />Every effort will be made to locate utilities in advance of construction. We will <br />make every effort to utilize all of the information and coordination resources <br />available with DigAlert-811. <br />Our first order of work will be identifying and contacting all utility owners as soon <br />as practicable. Initiating field meetings to identify conflicts and planned <br />concurrent activities. <br />• Subcontractors <br />MBC self -performs earthwork, bypass pumping, shoring, dewatering, concrete, <br />pipeline assembly, trench installation and equipment procurement and <br />installation. We typically subcontract for rebar fabrication, traffic striping, paving & <br />electrical (SCADA) installation. <br />Mike Bubalo Construction Co., Inc. has a proven record of appropriate business ethics <br />toward subcontractors, including, but not limited to, the following: <br />a. Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with federal, state and City of <br />Los Angeles laws and regulations pertaining to utilization of subcontractors <br />and business practices toward subcontractors; <br />b. Demonstrated commitment to practices of good faith and fair dealing toward <br />subcontractors; and <br />C. Our staff has a working <br />relationship with various local public utilities as well as numerous state and federal <br />authorities. <br />Safety: <br />Overall safety has improved on site over the last two years for our worksites. We have <br />zero (0) hours of lost time reported on OSHA form 300 reports for the last two years and <br />
