RESOLUTION 66-67 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WORLD SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION has executed a
<br />deed dated April 18, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />Street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,980.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow Number 874084-hrb with First American Title Insurance
<br />& Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA and IGNACIO DEHARO GONZALES and MARIA L. GONZALES have
<br />executed a deed dated March 19, 1966, conveying to the City an
<br />easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east
<br />of Fairview Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,050.00 and
<br />certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction is to
<br />be handled through Escrow No. 874024-hrb with First American Title
<br />Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA and RUDOLFO PADILIA JARA and ELSIE JARA have executed a
<br />deed dated March 19, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,055.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874026-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA and BULMARO FLORES and VICTORIA P. FLORES have executed
<br />a deed dated March 19, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $975.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874027-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FRANK CARRENO and JOSEPHINE CARRENO have executed a
<br />deed dated April 19, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $657.50 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874001-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA and JOHN GONZALES PINEDO and VIRGINIA PINEDO have executed
<br />a deed dated March 18, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $2,660.00 and certain remedial work to be
<br />done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 874030-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
<br />Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA and DESIDERIO MIRANDA YANEZ and NATALIE R. YANEZ have
<br />executed a deed dated March 17, 1966, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street,
<br />in consideration of the sum of $2,495.00 and certain remedial work
<br />to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874034-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
