Delivery within <br /> 45 days from date of award. <br /> <br /> Bid of United Concrete Pipe Corporation: 10% bond. <br /> 1696 lin. ft. 18" concrete cylinder pipe Class <br /> 150, for the lump sum of ti1,107.11. <br /> Price is net and includes 3% California State <br /> Sales Tax. Delivery can begin 45 days after <br /> receipt of order, and be completed at the rate <br /> of 600 lineal feet per day. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> <br /> bids were referred to the Director of Public Works for recommendation. <br /> . <br />Communications were read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />that a variance be granted Irvin R. Dawson etux to permit construct- <br />ion of a duplex on the north 52 feet of property at 1134 South Flower <br />Street, and from Assistant Director of Public Works stating that the <br />construction of standard concrete sidewalk and approach are needed in <br />order to bring it up to present city standards. On motion of <br />Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission was approved and variance granted, subJ eot to <br />the construction of standard concrete sidewalk and approach and that <br />applicant post a $200.00 bond to guarantee the perfoz~nance of the work. <br />Communications were read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />that a variance be g~anted Woodrow W. Tucker to permit the use of <br />property located at 501 East Anahurst Place, excepting the east 55 <br />feet, as a convalescent nursinE home for under six persons, subject to <br />th~ conditions that the type of guests be limited to ambulatory and <br />that no signs be displayed, and from the Assistant Director of Public <br />Works stating that Anahumst Place and Rousselle Street should be <br />paved out to existing paving in order to bring it up to present city <br />standards. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by McB~'ide and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved <br />and variance gu'anted subject to conditions as imposed by the Commission <br /> <br />and further that the requested improvements have been completed. <br /># <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, to <br />reconsider the matter of the Irvin R.
